General Statement of Duties / Summary of Position
This is a senior management position. The Electrical Project Manager, P.E. is responsible for the entire project design through successful completion. The Electrical Project Manager will have an assigned team (Project Managers, Designers and Drafters) for his/her project, will assign the work and see that is properly completed. When another firm is engaged as a sub-consultant in or out of the house, it is the Electrical Project Manager’s responsibility to see that the lines of responsibility are clearly defined and that there’s adequate coordination between offices. The Electrical Project Manager must be capable and experienced, with authority to speak for the firm in dealing with the client and to direct and expedite the work. The Electrical Project Manager will be fully responsible for the success of the project and the profit center assigned to him/her.
