Mechanical Senior Project Manager
General Statement of Duties / Summary of Position
This is a senior management position. The Mechanical Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of a project. The Mechanical Senior Project Manager will have an assigned team (Designer/Drafter) for his/her project, will assign the work and see that is properly completed. When another firm is engaged as a sub-consultant, it is the Mechanical Senior Project Manager’s responsibility to see that the lines of re sponsibility are clearly defined and that there’s adequate coordination between offices. The Mechanical Senior Project Manager must be capable and experienced, with authority to speak for the firm in dealing with the client and to direct and expedite the work. The Mechanical Senior Project Manager will be responsible for a portion of the profit center assigned to him/her.
